Walailak University, Thailand

Assoc. Prof. Dr. David J. Harding said "My research interests lie in the synthesis of transition metal complexes that exhibit bistability. In particular, I am interested in systems where the magnetic or optical activity of the complexes is coupled to other properties such as redox-activity. Molecular materials developed from this research are expected to have applications in high density information storage, molecular computing and spin-based molecular electronics. The multidisciplinary nature of this research requires characterization by spectroscopic, electrochemical, spectroelectrochemical, magnetic, structural and theoretical methods"
